Beverly works as a consultant for NORAVA Consulting LLC assisting clients during the application process on energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.
Beverly retired from the Department of Energy (DOE) in January 2004 after a 31 year career with the U. S. Government. During her federal career Beverly served as the program manager on two different programs, the Institutional Conservation Program (ICP) for the Kansas City Regional Office and the State Energy Program (SEP) at the Denver Regional Office. In this capacity she was responsible for providing guidance and technical assistance to States and other grantees in the development, award and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs and projects.

Prior to retirement she served as the Senior Budget Officer at the Denver Regional office. As the budget officer she managed and tracked both the administrative and program budgets. Formulating and monitoring the Regional Office budget and financial management systems. She administered and monitored the Regional Office’s spending plan and provided the necessary recommendations to the Regional Director and Deputy Director on expenditures, cost reductions and corrective measures, if needed.
Beverly served as a Senior Advisor to the Regional Director, Deputy Director and staff in the areas of budget, finance, travel and telecommunications. She was the liaison for the office working with the field offices, Headquarters, other regional offices, state energy offices and other entities as needed on budget issues. As the Certifying official she was responsible for reviewing grants and ensuring that all program regulations were met before certifying funds.
